Situated at the Gateway to Western Maine, the Norseman Inn and Motel boasts the area’s finest central location and guests can choose from several fabulous lodging options. We invite you to enjoy our tastefully decorated guest rooms in the 200-year-old Inn, relax by the crackling fire in our beautiful sitting room, and enjoy a delicious continental breakfast prepared daily, especially for you. At the Norseman Inn and Motel, we’ll pamper you in the finest Maine tradition.

The Motel

Our Motel was converted and completely refurbished from a 100-year-old barn. This is the perfect setting for an exciting family vacation.

Our 22 motel rooms, each with private bath and TV, receive lots of TLC to make them just right for you. Each room has one or two queen beds and all of these rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. We also provide free WiFi. Come try one out and see!

The game room, with an assortment of board games and on site laundry facilities, is located in our Motel and accessible to all guests. We are within minutes of Sunday River Ski Area and Mt. Abram.

The Inn

When you stay in one of our 8 Inn rooms in our 200-year-old Inn, you are home! Quilts, cozy surroundings and a wonderfully grand fire in the living room on cool nights make it perfect! Each Inn room has a private bath and romance rules here (no TV’s in these rooms). Quaint just doesn’t do us justice.

All year round guests enjoy our on-site private trails. Perfect for casual walks with stunning mountain views, fabulous foliage. In the winter, these private trails are ideal for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.

Snowmobilers – We are a trail-side lodging establishment with full access to the Maine Interstate Trail System (ITS).

For the skier with the need to maintain and repair skis, the Norseman is one of very few places that provide an on-site Ski Tuning Shed.
